Eve loves it outside. She has been having a blast working on her tan in our heat wave here! The problem is she just doesn't want to stop and come inside to cool off. The other day we were helping my mom garden and she just didn't want to go inside or drink water to cool off.
Yesterday she was "helping" me plant in the planters. It was hilarious!! First off she thought that the best way to water plants would be with lighter fluid. That is a girl after her daddy's heart!! Then she was helping me dig in the dirt.
The most hilarious part of the day was when I left the door open so she could play on the deck while I did dishes and found her planting her baby in the planter. Not to worry she was a good mommy and then dug her up and brought her inside. Once inside she got the wipes out to wipe off her baby. It was adorable!!

There is nothing like gardening with a toddler. Eve helps me remember to take time to: smell the flowers, listen to the bees buzz, look at the little bugs & buds and feel the petals. I will spend more time 'smelling dandelions' this summer because of her.
